whenever I change the source on my cd player to AUX,  to watch DVDs,  i get engine whine through my speakers.  At first, i thought that it was the ground from the power invertor, but it still whines whenever the invertor is off.  Just as long as the source is set to AUX, i get the engine whine.  Anybody know what the problem is?

Make sure your RCA cables coming out of your dvd player are not run near any cables that are transferring 12volt power.

Did you do a three wire twist meaning power and ground and remote going directly to the amplifier.

Twisting the 3 pairs of wires together reduces the amount of induced EMI. This inhibits noise to a minimum.
