1) What are the major differences between the older KNA-DV2100 and the newer KNA-DV3100?  Is it worth pursuing the newer model?

2) Are the Kenwood units better or worse than the Pioneer or Alpine units?

3) I'm looking at the new Kenwood Excelon DDX7015 and I was wondering if the Kenwoods were similar to the Pioneers where you can just ground the parking brake wire and be able to use the system in motion?

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks, Andrew

The 3100 is a better model
1) Double the POI's and mileage than the 2100
2) It gives you the option to add voice control
3) It has a bread crumb feature in case your out offroading and need to follow your trail back to the road
4) It will now work with any monitor where as the 2100 has to be off of Kenwood Touchscreen models. You just need to get the optional remote control so you can do your inputs.
5) Best of all it's $1000 cheaper
