I have a general questions regarding how to improve  tv tuner performance.  I have several customers that are interested in TV turners, but wanted to know how could they maximize the reception received.  Does anyone have any suggestions regarding antenna products, signal boosters, makes, models, etc.....

Any additional information would be helpful.

Thanks.

First of all, tuners must be diversity antenna capable. (Two antennas instead of one)

As more separated  are the two antennas you will get better reception.

Tuners as the Sony XT-63V  (a match with the XAV-7W head unit) include two amplified antennas.

Beware of original sided window tinted glass because they have lead in the glass which reduce signal reception. Also rear defrost wires are a nightmare for antenna reception.

If you install one antenna on front windshield and the other on rear window signal would be a lot bnetter.
