I have 2 luxma headrest LCD's installed in a Chrysler minivan.  The LCD screens are black when initially turned on.  This only happens when it's cold.  After ahwile when the LCDs  warm up they work fine.  Is this a common problem w/ these LCDs or is it a power problem?  The LCDs are tied into the power line for the DVD which operates fine.  Ground seems to be OK .  My experience w/ these monitors has been bad, I had to return 3 of them because of a design issue w/ power switch.  Any ideas?

I have been told by 2 monitor manufacturers that the operating temperature for LCD montiors is between 25 deg F and 122 deg F and that they can't guarantee this wouldn't happen below 25F.   Has anybody heard this before?  If so are there other brand monitors out there w/ a lower operating  temperature range.  I can't beleive that an LCD system is unoperatble under 25 deg F.
