I PUT IN A Alpine NVA-N751AS navigation AND THEY SAY I HAVE TO TAP THE VSS WIRE OR IT WILL NOT WORK

try the dk blue / YELLOW at #84 of the ECM found on the drivers side firewall

For a 2001 Linclon LS, it is white and red, pin 13 OF 26 at the PCM.
