can anyone verify my wiring hook up for a GNTX-177 autodimming / compass mirror.  I have three wires cominig off the mirror and they are: violet / orange, black, and black / red or pink.  They are in that order and I believe the black is the ground, the violet / orange is the switched 12 volt positive, and the black / red or pink is the reverse sensor which goes to a 12 volt reverse light on wire.

Is this correct and does the reverse light wire need to be hooked up to work?

It was a Ebay mirror and was from a 99 Ford Crown Victoria.  HELP !!!!!!

Look down a couple of posts. There are a ton of different wiring diagrams for these mirrors.
