I just  bought a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan ES with an Audiovox VOH682A system already installed.  The vcp is located on the rear quarter panel on the passenger side and is a pain to access. I want to add a dvd player  (Audiovox AVD300) to the system and am wondering where is the best place to install it.  I want to use the front inputs on the dvd player for a playstation 2.  My van has the removeable console between the seats.  Iv'e considered putting it in there vertically.  Any suggestions?

I put the dvd in the pocket below the radio. But i dont use Audivox product too many problems. We use Magnadyne Movievision. This is the DVD we use.

it is the size of 4 cd jewel cases stacked for reference.

Thanks Joe. I appreciate the info.  I should get the dvd this week and will see how it will fit.  I think there is enough room there but the dvd is not designed for dash mounting (no faceplate) so I'm not sure how to make it look right.  Maybe you or someone else could help me there!
