I have a Nissan Armada with the Bose system and navigation package.  I am putting in a Blaupunkt ME3 DVD player.  I'm attaching the schematic diagram from the service manual for the OEM DVD system.  My question is can I take the RCA left and right audio from the DVD and connect it to wires 34, 35, 36, and 37? and get the system to work like OEM?  I don't know what the FES stands for.  Also if this is possible do I take a RCA cable and cut off two ends and I assume its like a coax cable and there will be the ground outside of the center positive, and then just splice into the appropriate wire?  I ended up just patching into the AUX connection which works but I would like it to function close to OEM.  Thirdly, if that is not possible, I have only tapped the aux wires and just left it unpluged from the dash jack. Can I plug it back into the dash jack and if needed plug a different source into the jack through the dash...assuming I am not using the DVD player??????? posted_image

still didn't work...anyway the wires are labled FES LH input (-), FES LH input (+), FES RH input (-), FES RH input (+), There is also a FES enable and a audio on wire that connects between the factory dvd and head units. Is there anything I should connect to these wire as well?

Try connecting the FES enable to your audio on wire.  That should enable your AUX input or DVD input.  It's very similar to the AUX input of the Honda Element.

email me if you need more help.  I'm about to do a 10.4" screen with a DVD player on in a friend's armada.

I decided to avoid the hassle and tapped into the aux jack behind the dash.  Volume was low so I ordered https://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.asp?product_ID=LD-1
