I just installed a Rosen R6500 2-DIN combo box and an Alpine Nav unit in my truck(2004 F250 Diesel).  Everything works great but...

Now the dash illumination lights don't work.   I looked through the owner's manual for a possible blown fuse, but there doesn't seem to be a dedicated fuse for this circuit.  I can't find any other functions that aren't working and pulled all of the other possible fuses (like "intrument panel").

Any one out there know where to look for the problem?  I'm guessing that this must happen occasionaly to other people.

Thanks,

ddrummer

Aha! Of course Fuse #17 (15A) "Exterior Illumination" would be for the interior illumination.  That makes great sense...

Hope somebody finds this useful in the future.

The dash lights share the circuit with the parking lights.  Hence the "exterior illumination".
