posted_image  Hello everyone!  I'm so new that when I posted my very first topic in this forum, I can't seem to locate it anywhere afterwards, so I have no choice but to post it again.

I'm a DIY type guy, trying to save a buck or two.  I already installed my Pyle PLTVD700 CD/DVD Player, equipped with single 12V remote power output line.  I want to utilize this line to power up my monitor.  My monitor is currently being juiced up by the cigarette lighter plug adapter.  My intention is to cut this adapter wire and connect the positive wire (black with white stripe) with the single remote wire.  The negative wire (solid black) to be connected to the car chassis.  Not sure if I identified the wires correctly, please feel free to correct me on this.  My other question or concern is, does this remote power output line have enough juice to power up my monitor?  My monitor requires an input voltage of DC 11-13V and power of 9.5W.  I appreciate any help HELP.

Typically, the remote turn-on wire of the head unit will be blue/white; is that what yours is?

That wire is only intended to "tell" amplifiers or other equipment to turn itself on.  The blue wire puts out only a tiny amount of power; not even enough to power up your monitor.  But that can be fixed with an ordinary SPDT automotive relay.

85 goes to ground.  86 goes to the blue/white from your CD player.  87 goes to a known good (and fused) source of constant 12-volts positive.  87a is left empty.  30 goes to your outboard monitor.

posted_image  It's actually a CD/DVD Player not a head unit.  Normally, head units are in-dash type radios.  Anyway, I have a single solid blue wire, attached with fuse holder that has a 0.5A/250V fuse inside.  The manual indicates that it provides a DC 12V/0.5A output when unit is powered up.  When unit is turned off, no output.  I guess, from my understanding, it will provide a constant 12V  power to my monitor when unit is turned on, and off when turned off.  Not just a jolt of power to tell the system to turn itself on, then power down.  My concern is with the monitor wiring.  Did I identify the wires correctly and will my intended connection/wiring pattern work?  Thanking you in advance for any input into this post.

Yes, you have it right.  And I suppose there is a good chance that the Pyle's .5-amp output will be sufficient to drive the small monitor.  Go ahead and try it, but be ready to use the relay method if it doesn't work.
