I have recently installed a mopar/alpine 6 disc dvd in dash player. The dvd player wont let me put a disk inside, it has a metal gate that seems to be locked down. Ther are 6 lights on the front that flash upon starting the vehicle, after a few seconds the lights alternate flashing between the buttons1-2-3 and then flash on 4-5-6 back and forth. The message on the radio says error. Could someone please help me..

Could someone please tell me what would cause a chrysler 6 disc dvd in dash player to flash orange lights and not allow me to put a dvd inside. The radio is giving an error message.

Ok, i have it figured out. Just had one of these in my shop and one a while ago. One I unplugged, and plugged back in, and it reset and worked fine. Another had to be sent out for repair. Try the reset and maybe you'll luck out.

I have looked for the reset button and there does not seem to be one....Any idea where I might look.
