I'm searching for headrest monitors and don't know what NTSC Color Format means. Some monitors I've seen look orange when looking at them from the side. Any help with what to look for when buying monitors PLEASE.

when you look at it from the side, it looks orange is cuz its cheap. good monitors shouldnt look orange or any weird color, only one side, usually bottom on a headrest, have ghost image. valor monitors man, one of the best monitors i've ever seen.

get the ones that say TFT cuz you could view these monitors from about any angle

NTSC stands for NATIONAL TELEVISION STANDARDS COMMITTEE. In January of 1954 the NTSC introducted the first standard for television. In their honor this standard is known as the NTSC format. This format features more frames/sec then either PAL or NTSC, but is a little bit less resolute.

Frames/sec: 30
Scanning Lines: 525
Field Fequency: 60 Hz
Color System:

Color Sig. Freq: ~3.57 MHz
Video Bandwidth: 4.2 mHz
Sound Carrier: 4.5 mHz

All of this mumbo jumbo means that when you want to view video encoded in the United States go with this standard instead of PAL. And I ditto what d-town stated about the TFT monitors. Make sure you look for this because I got burned with a STN monitor that was advertised as TFT. It makes a huge difference.
