can a panasonic in dash tv dvd work whet out the control unit coz i got just the deck whet out the control unit but it dont work

Without the control unit the Panasonic screen and functions will not work or even turn on.

i get power but dont function so you say i need the contorl unit for it work AND DO YOU NO I IF BUY THE PANASONIC CA-TU7000U WILL IT WORK
