Hey guy, I want to know if anyone had engine noise with vizualogic advantage series 9" monitors hearest [install in a GM suv] the noise isn't only with the wireless headphones is also with the fm modulator I tried diferent noise filters,power line and rca and I have a little improvement but doesn't take care 100% .I did ground to the chassis good ground and I also run a wire straight from the battery [for testing purpose only] no luck so if anybody have any sugestions it will be very appreciated .THANKS

Normally the best way to take care of engine noise on the vizualogic systems is to put an RCA noise filter RIGHT before the FM modulator, and if you're getting noise on the headphones too, then one RIGHT before your input to the vizualogic main unit. If your using the older vizualogic system with the seperate headphone box, then obviously put one there.

Depending on how the wires and cables were run and conencted eliminating the source of the noise may vary. The sure fire way to get rid of noise is to use 2 rca noise filters, one right before the Modulator, and the other right before the audio input to the control box. In addition adding a inline power filter right before the control box, modulator, and dvd player should help as well.
