I have just installed an aftermaket DVD system in our 04 Quest. I installed two of the Myron and Davis screens in the overhead console in our SE model. They really look great and execpt for the Myron and Davis Logo on them you would not be able to tell that they were not factory. They have a great picture and the fit is really nice. The only problem I have is that I want to intergrate the audio into the factory system. If you press and hold the Rear AV button it is supposed to select the DVD audio. Currently it just flashes No DVD. Does anyone know how the factory DVD player is connected to the Bose system. Our van has XM Radio so we can't use the plug for that.

On the Armada head unit there is factory DVD wiring. It goes to a harness that has left right audio and video and a FES Enable, Audio on and a acc power.  Tie into the audio and splice the FES Enable and Audio ON wires together.  The head unit will think the DVD is always on.  You'll get the audio to play by holding down the Rear AV button for more than 1.5 seconds.

How did you route the wiring from the overhead display to the unit under the seat?
Was there already a harness in the console to pick up power for the display?
