Hi to all,

I installed a 10.4 TV screen on my 2001 toyota seqouia it worked prefect, after two days later the DOME LIGHT won't turn it on and off when I open or close the door, I have to mamully turn it on and off, I check the fulse which is OK. please help. Thank You.

where did you grab this wire? is the screen needing a negative or positive trigger? What kind of screen?

Well, your truck puts out a negative trigger, It's a white wire at the BCM under the drivers dash, its pin number B8.

If your going to a fuse you are more than likely using a positive trigger, 90% of screen domelights use a negative trigger, this may be your issue. Has it ever worked? Are there any relays involved?

My screen is ---> https://www.audioinmotion.com/generic49.html scroll down to the last two where it said Emerson 10.4" Flip-Down Monitor (MT-2500) 2001 Toyota Sequoia with Sunroof, that is my truck.

here is how my setup: TV SCREEN SEQUIOA DOME LIGHT

BLACK ---------> BLACK

YELLOW +12 ----> GREEN ( constant)

GREY -------> WHITE ( door switch )

RED (acc) Nothing

Yes, it works for two days, and the dome light stay on never ture it off by it self Is that anyway to test the B8 wier and where is the DOME LIGHT relays locate, Thank's lot Defective.
