As some of you may know, the 95 jeep has an overhang, the dash hangs over the "din opening" and there will be clearance issues with the the screen hitting the overhang. Is there anyway around this? i was thinking of making a fiberglass "extension" to give about 1/2 inch of extra depth.. but dont know how to go about doing it.

If you have any suggestions, post up. thanks for ANY help.

Most indash video units have adjustable settings for the screen when it's open.  You can also check with your local install shop, most gm kits have an 1/2" spacer included in them.  They might give you one.

How do you feel about loosing your center air vents? that will lower the monitor down far enough to clear the overhang but it will take some time and if your not doing the work your self some $$$ just an idea.

Depending on the screens some of them can be set to sit out more. I am almost positive I used thepioneer indash and didnt have a problem because the screen came out far enough.
