I am tired of my in-dash Pioneer flip out. I want something more sleek. Are there any monitor display only units that fits in the double din? The only ones I can find are the headrest ones.

Ya kenwood and I think eclipse make a deck with a motorized double din screen, you hit a button and the screen flips down to let you insert a disk and then flips back up flat. Pretty cool things.

yeah those are costly. I was just talking about the monitor only, and then I am going to buy the Pioneer cd player that also plays dvd's.

I have mounted the Clarion 6.5 inch headrest screens in double din openings with very minimul hassel. Little bit of backstraping and a little bit of planning and it wasnt a problem.

Customer car so I dont have any ictures because it was pretty basic and stait forward. Didnt seem worth my time to find a camera, and Im kinda lazy. I cant say if a 7 will fit but Im pretty sure it would with a few modifications. The 6.5 fit without any mods except a little carving of the bezel. To do a seven inch you may have to remove it from its shell but I would guess you could do it.
