Hey all,

Just had a few questions in how to install an Alpine TME-M580 into my sun visor. In the manual it says to make a connection to the foot brake lead (Yellow/black), the ACC power lead (Red) and a connection to the Hand brake lead (Yellow/blue). The install is a Saturn L, with an Alpine DVA-7996, an Alpine PXA-H700, connected by Ai-Net, and digital optical cable. From the PXA-H700 RCA's connect to the Alpine MRD-M500's and an Alpine MRV-F540. This is the first screen being installed and I am unsure on how connect these wires so I can use this as a navigation monitor later on and defeat the "video only when the brake is pulled". Any suggestions or comments are welcome Thanks in advance.

Wire the YELLOW/BLACK wire to your brake wire of the Saturn. Wire the YELLOW/BLUE to the hand brake wire that grounds when pulled up. Wire the RED to the ignition wire of the car that is switched 12 volts. You will need to go through the parking sequence to engage the video portion of the system to play.

you can also wire this monitor for rear passanger its pin number 2 put that straight to ground and it will allow you to bypass it for"rear viewing" there is no wire in pin 2 it says n/c on the video box that it comes with just get an extra pined wire and ground it.

goodluck
