Headphones not working?

A customer brought in his new Escalade so I could see why his headphones don't work. The brand is XO Vision. Shouldn't the headphones work as soon as you turn them on. Also, shouldn't you be able to listen to the radio, and listen to the movie or whatever on the headphones. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!!!

The unit should contain headphone amp, make sure the antenna (usually a small ga. wire) is ran correctly. Some units also come with up to three different channels, make sure the headphones are on the correct frequency. You should only be able to listen to what is on the screen, you won't receive any music stations.
