Anyone have any experience with this unit?  I Currently am using a DEH-P6400 head unit by Pioneer, and i was wondering it i could use the same wiring harness adapter.  I don't think i will, but maybe.  Also, is it relatively easy to find a place to install the hide away unit in a 95-97 Blazer/Jimmy/Bravada?  Im thinkin about gettin one sometime soon, and i wanna have all my questions somewhat answered so i dont spend a grand and get effed over.  Thanks alot in advance.

You need to wire the new harness in to the car. You can usually put the hide away unit under the seat.

The 6500 has the parking brake input wire as well on the harness that the 6400 doesn't have. These are completely different units with different harnesses.

That hide away unit is actually pretty small and can be placed in the dash right behind the unit, I did it about a week ago with a 6600 model, same thing with a different display, and that was in a 95 Blazer, no problems.  And yes you will have to rewire the harness but it is a very simple switch to do.

Alright, sounds good. I think you guys thought that i would use the harness that plugs into the back of the 6400 and use that on the 6500DVD...Thats not what i meant, im sorry for the mix up.  I should be able to take the adapter harness for a 97 Bravada and solder all of the speaker connections and all that happy crappy and i should be able to plug right into my stock radio harness, because i do not want to chop off my stock radio harness.  I am aware of the green parking brake wire.  The only extra wire im aware of in comparison to the 6400 is the green wire...correct?  Again, im sorry for the mixup, and thanks for all of your replies.
