Is there a reset button on the unit? Also what do you mean by "straight to the power source" and what would that power source be?

thanks for the reply, what i meant was straight to the battery. i thought i might have a bad wire in the new but used car i was putting it in, so i wired it straight to the battery and still no power. i cant find a reset either.
just for extra info, after wiring straight to battery the 10 amp fuse was still good
