Greetings,

My 5.6 LCD seems to have bit the dust (got it used)...

I'm looking to replace it as inexpensively as possible-- I need at least these 3 features:
   12 volt
   2 video inputs
   1/4-20 thread mount (tripod style)

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

EL

Check www.starvision.us. Don't know about the threading.   High quality monitors at very reasonable prices. Good warranty, too. Have been using them a lot this year, no problems yet. PM me if you need help getting them.

ebay does have cheap screens, but u get what u pay for. if u buy a screen for $100 there is a good chance it is a crappy brand and the pixels or the tv it self will burn out quickly. ( sometimes u get lucky and they are fine )

but you don't want to do all the labor of cutting your headrests or where ever u are putting them and then the tv burns out in weeks or months, or even worse days. ( i have seen it happen to a bunch of friends ). now u have a headrest with a hole init that will only fit that tv perfectly, and i am sure u don't want to buy another of the same one.

i suggest u spend alittle more, but get something that won't give u problems for years to come.
