2004 Mazda 3s

i am going to install an lcd monitor (clarion mva5894) dvd player (clarion vs735) fm modulator (clarion fm200) and a PS2 using a power inverter through the cigg lighter tomorrow. The dvd player will be installed inside the glove box using the brackets (same place as the oem nav system). PS2 under passenger seat......blah blah blah......My question is where do i get the power from? I have the stock stereo still and im not changing it. running a wire(s) straight to the battery is possible but then i have to worry about leaving it on overnight and draining the battery dead. So i wondered if i could use fuse taps and get the power from the fuse box. Is this a good idea? And if so which fuses should i use for my install?  I need constant and accessory sources.
Thanks in advance!!
Sean

I'd go to the ignition harness and make sure you fuse!

 ignition harness
Ignition GREEN/ YELLOW  +  ignition harness
Second Ignition N/A
Third Ignition N/A
Accessory pink / YELLOW  +  ignition harness
Second Accessory yellow  +  ignition harness
for ignition source i would use the one that looses 12 volts when you crank, some electronics are voltage sensetive and you can fry them when voltage dips when cranking

though 3 items don't draw a lot of current, the inverter might did you get at least a 150 watt? if i'm remembering right a playstation 2's ac power intake is a little over a 100

I may be way off,   when i wire power inverters i usally go straight to the battery and wire in a relay using ignition to turn it on, you might also have need of a good noise filter or GLI or both, sometime audio from ps2 gets a little noisey since your changing dc to ac and going back into a dc system

always fuse when you go to the ignition harness, you can t-tap or scotch lock, I solder tape and zip tie, i do use 2 female terminals as my fuse holder a lot, you'll probably be okay with a 10-15 amp fuse on ig and constant, probably a 20 on power inverter at the batt

somebody help me if you disagree
