Im looking to finally put some screens in my head rests, I am only 17 and so I dont have all the money in the world.  I would much rather save up and buy a good quality product than buy a $70 screen and watch orange smurfs.  The local shop around here (Custom Sounds, look at my other thread, advice on getting a new job) mainly sells Eiger Vision for their headrest screens, I used to think this company was no good because it seemed to come out of nowhere.  I have a friend who works at that shop who had an 7" eiger vision screen in the back of each headrest in a 2003 tahoe and I was pretty impressed with the quality.  I know I want tft, and I would prefer to stay at like $200-250 so I can have a $400-500 total, Ive seen the eigers and the quality was pretty good so thats my first choice.  I have also found some farenheit screens and i checked some threads on here, their reputation seems to be ok and the quality is generally considered good, anyone have experience with both?  If anyone can suggest an alternative 7" tft screen in the $200-250 range please let me know.  Also if any expedition/navigator owners on here that know how painful it is to cut up their seats to install screens (no headrest on expeditions), please please PM me or post and give me some pointers before I risk this possibly messy project on my own.

Thanks everyone,

Jeff

anyone out there looking for a cheap bad ass 7" headrest screen look into the  FARENHEIT T-7000MHR 7.0" TFT/LCD Monitor screens they run under $200.00 i just installed them in my friends suv w/ a audiobahn dvd player and this guy was impressed with the picture, he thought the screens on display at circuit city were bad until he saw the farenheits installed, the picture is crystal clear anyone who checks them out will think you spent a ton of money for that type of quality.  i highly recomend them if you're on a budget or not.  i will have some pics soon when my friend gets back from vacation.  i'll keep ya'll posted.  the best deals are always found on ebay and the company that sells these screens brand new cheap they are called"millionbuy"   check them out for all your car audio needs at ...

I don't sell either screen at my shop, but if I had to choose, I would take the Eiger Vision, I have heard nothing but good things about the quality and price of their product.posted_image
