Looking for the location of the VSS wire on my F350 Diesel. I have done several searches and found a few for the 03 truck but some have said the 04 is different. I also am not sure if the location would be the same between the diesel and the gasser. I am hoping it is in the factory wiring harness like some have mentioned. ?????Has anyone done this install before?

Ford usually sources their VSS pulses off the rear diff. You'll see a harness along the top edge off the diff casing that has 2 wires in it (the 2002 F350 today had a GREEN/ blck, and a RED / orange, btw) They are twisted together, and this makes it nice to find under the hood where the big harness for the rear of the truck reappears along the firewall/inner driver's side fender.
You could try this.

Does the truck have 4 wheel ABS at all? If so, you can also grab a good VSS signal off of the driver's side front wheel sensor for the ABS.
