I have an AVIC-N1 and I love it. I am being transfered to Germany and I am afraid that it will not work over there since they market the AVIC-X1 for Europe. Does anyone know if it will work?

I know it will probably not play European DVDs, but will the navigation system work if I get the Europe DVD? Of course Pioneer says No, but I do not fully believe them.

Any ideas?

Anybody want to trade/loan a European DVD for a North American DVD. I, I am offering original shrink wrapped DVD, your choice of region.

it might not work. just like you can't change the clock more than 3 hours ahead. maybe the navi dvds also have regions???
