I have a pioneer AVIC-N1 installed in my 2000 nissan frontier and get engine noise coming through the speakers. I have tried a couple different grounds and neither have solved the problem. Any other suggestions to rid me of the engine rpms playing through my speakers? ------------- jrloyd

I' ve had the same problem out of a few of those units, also a DEHP8600MP I sold to a customer has the same problem. Talked to a rep and he claimed I was the first to have this problem. I've talked to people in other cities that were having this problem. I think it has do with the plug for the RCA'S.

Thanks. I had a DEHP840MP did the same thing. Anyone else with advice would be appreciated.

Normally this noise comes from power wire, not for this special model, but in general I use this Filter:
"NS10 Pyramid Easily Installed, 10 Amps, Reduces and Eliminates Engine Interference, Compatible w/Receivers, Equalizers & Amplifiers"
You can buy it from this link or in ebay:

Hope this helps...
