IF ANYONE COULD PLEASE HELP...

my technical support doesnt provide  speed sense or park sense for a 2005

dodge ram 2500. any help appreciated. i cant wait to ge my kenwood excelon nav in!!!

Here's the information for the 2004 Dodge RAM. Hope this helps:

VSS Wire: LOCATION 11 4 CONNECTOR ECM- RIGHT GREEN CONNECTOR POSITION 32, MANUAL 3 CONNECTOR ECM BLACK CONNECTOR POSITION 13
VSS Wire Color: AUTOMATIC LT. GREEN / WHITE or GREEN/ BROWN, MANUAL WHITE/ ORANGE or GREEN/ YELLOW
VSS Pulse: AUTOMATIC 38,600 MANUAL 8000
VSS Tach Wire: IF MANUAL TRANSMISSION USE CLUTCH SWITCH 250-4206
Tach Signal Wire Color: WHITE/ BLACK
Brake Switch Positive: PINK/BLUE
Brake Switch Negative: WHITE/ TAN

yeah i saw that on the rosta site, maybe your could assist me further-

after vss wire:

it says location 11, green conector, pos. 32

then goes on to say...

manual 3 black connector, pos...

i assume this means all automatic vehicles would best be served by the vss in location 11, and maybe location 3 for manual trannys. (trannys, hehe)

nothing like trying to interpret someone else's garbled mess!

how would i go about verifying the vss with a multimeter???

also, what is the vss pulse, or do i somehow use that to test?!?

PLEASE HELP, i would love to finish my install tonight

come on guys-

if i dont have this up and running by the weekend, im just gonna sh**. damnit, now that i think of it, i think the answer's in the mecp study guide, if i only knew where that was.
