ok im gettin a new laptnop for christmas and i wsthinging of adding the navigation software so i can have it in my truck. i have an alpince va1003 in there already and thought i just use a video out of the lap top to the screen> little easier and cheaper than gettingthe alpine gps. i dont really do to much traveling to get the alpine one. doe you think its a good idea and do those work well.?also what kinds do you recomend

PM me. I have used my laptop and Microsoft Streets and Trips 200x extensively with GPS.
