has anybody worked on a cva 1003 i just tested it the only thing i had hooked up where my power and ground should the screen still come up. also i just replaced the ribbon cable, could the part that is going into the monitor be the problem and stopping it from going up it beeps three times then it makes like a humming noise

if it is used there is probably something in the way i dont remember if that screen is fully motorized but if it is not comming out at all then there is def somethign wrong with it , you have the brain hooked up right the red yellow and black ground wire , yellow constant 12, red switched 12,

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
