hello, i recently installed a ps2 in a friends and it was modified to were it ran of 12 volts. my first question is how do you do that mod to the ps2 that lets it run off 12 volts, and my other question is what does it mean when a ps2 just shuts off by itself and the red led starts to blink??? thanks for your time.

Blinking Red light means it is on Stand-by....The main power switch in the back is still on but the unit has powered down to stand-by mode
