does anyone know where i can locate the speed sensor wire and the reverse wire?

ok, i found the speed sense wire and it's an orange one located on a 40-pin harness with a white plug behind the climate control.

should i use a diode to isolate the wire since i think it ultimately goes to the ECM unit.  please advise.
