I seem to be having a difficult time with a Pixelon .5 din DVD headrest system in a 2005 Cadillac station wagon. The customer complains tha the DVD as well, as both screens, power down when the rear 'fan' is turned on (I'm assuming that they are referring to the rear climate blower) Is this a result of power surge or excessive draw? I've swapped players/screens 3x for no more than a giggle. A wire profile might prove to be a salvation, but I'll take whatever you might offer.

What wire did you tie into for power and ground?
