I recently put this unit in my truck. I was wondering if they make a compatable navigation system that will work with my unit? Any help would be great. BrianH

Clarion does not have a navigation system that is not part of the Joyride system. They do have a unit in europe that might make it to the states if they build a map database. Othe aftermarket navigation systems could work on your VRX925DV, but none that would be touch screen.

do u know what aftermarket navagation systems that would work. I asked a local dealer and they said that all nav systems are brand specific. I have a clarion VXD610 indash unit, and have been lookin for one. If any1 has any information of one that would work would be much appreciated.

Any navigation system with composite video output (yellow video plug RCA) could easily plug into your VRX610, like Pioneer's AVIC-90DVD or Alpine NVE-N852a with composite video adapter. The resolution won't be as sharp as units using RGB connections between the navigation computer and display. A few in dash units have RGB inputs and these connectors are manufacture specific.

cool ill look into that thanx for the speedy response. I just hook up the rcas to my VRX610 with thier CCA389 a/v plug? So all the features of those navs will work? I heard that some features might not be there due to things like IPBUS or whatever, i think clarion calls it CeNet and pioneer IPBUS.

The Clarion VRX610 w/CCA389 plug would work with a Alpine NVE-N852a using the Alpine KCE-021N adapter. The Pioneer AVIC-90DVD would work with CD-RGB26P adapter and wouldn't need IPBus. I'd go for the Pioneer because it's more advanced and will also play DVD movies with the navigation disc out.
