Ok, im new to all this and if its already posted here on the boards please just point me in the right direction. Im just getting ready to get Jensen In-Dash DVD/CD Player With 7" Motorized Screen (VM9510), and want to know should i try to install it, I mean i have installed many noramal cd decks but have not ever installed a Dvd deck so should i do it my self or have it installed. And the main question about this sh*t "The vehicle must be in park with the emergency brake applied in order to use the screen as a video monitor" how do i go about bypassing it. That is what is what im talking about already being on the board, if so just link it here so i can check it out cause i could not find it.

It should install exactly like a regular head unit. Get a wire harness and it will be simple. As for the video, some are different than others but you should probly just take that wire to ground. But I am not endorsing driving with a screen in view of the driver. It is very dangerous. But I'm sure you just don't wanna go through the trouble of putting on the parking brake so thats how you solve that problem.

Most of the ones i've dont just need to be grounded, however i did have one that needed a positve input, so try grounding it first
