 Hello,

two things I need help with:

1. I'm going to be hooking up my dvd system into my explorer next weekend. I have 2 headrest screens, dvd player with a tv tuner, and a video amplifier. I dont know what else if anything i am going to need before installation. I am only running a dvd system no gaming for now.  Do I need a video switcher? Will I need a fm modualtor or can I hook up my dvd player straight to my deck since theres an aux function and rcas from the aux? Lastly, do I need a antenna to get tv stations from the built in tv tuner?

2. Ok, so correct me if im wrong (and dont be scared, im not doing this install alone). If what im imagining is correct I can connect my dvd plaver to my deck so i can get sound through the car speakers. Then, connect the dvd player to the video amplifier, and then connect my screens to the video amplifier. Please let me know stuff I missed especially if it's important. I dont know if anything is supposed to be grounded, and the aboved mentioned stuff is in transit shipping as i speak, so i dont know how detailed the instructions are.

Any help and/or suggestions would be great. Thanks so much!

1. You will need extra wire for power and ground. If your tuner didn't come with antennas then you will need antennas but don't expect too much. Switcher can be added later. As for audio, you will need an auxilary input adapter to get audio directly into your radio(most do not have rca inputs) or you can use an fm modulator.

2. See question 1 for audio input. Also if you are only running 2 screens you probably won't need a video amplifier.
