flip down tv system install

Ok guys I need experience here!!   I am installing a 13.3" flip down tv, dvd player with tv tuner, fm modulator and a pixelon somethin or other I think its for the head phones.  I am not sure how all the wires hook up. I have the fm modulator hooked up to to the wire harness for the radio do I have to run rca cables from the to the dvd player? also this pixelon transmitter I think is for the headphones to receive signal that also has rca jacks comming off of it , then you got the cable from the tv that hooks into the dvd player. Where are all the rca cables supposed to hook up to?

I did a temporary install of the dvd player just to see if it worked u know just ran some temp wires to it and the dvd player send signal to the tv but the dvd player will not take the dvd. I didnt hook up the power wire directly to the battery could it be maybe that its not getting the power it needs to play the dvd all it does spit it back out after a couple of seconds. I dont have the fm modulator hooked up to it yet but that only affects the audio right?

DVD player is bad, send it back.
