Ok i ran the foot pedal wire, to the WHITE/ blk wire on the harness from the car that runs into the foot pedal brake. And i ran the yellow/blue wire from the brain to the wire that goes to the hand brake. Now , this is supposed to work while im parked right.. Well when i put in a dvd you can see the video for about 2 seconds then it goes to video is cut off for safety. What am i doing wrong? by the way my car is stick ,. not automatic , am i supposed to run the wires differently? thanks for your input.

i think the brake wire can just be grounded on most alpines but i guess it depends on the screen.

WROOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Alpine does not just ground. It takes brake AND parking brake.

By the way the sequence is Hold the foot brake down, apply parking brake, release parking brake, apply parking brake, release foot brake.

thanks all for input, i was playing around with it and found out how to easily bypass it and make it work, well basicly run the foot brake wire normally. and instead of running the e brake wire to e brake, run that wire to a 12 volt source, and put a switch inbetween the 12 volt source and the brain. And do the HOld foot brake - ebrake up, ebrake down ebrake up release foot brake. procedure. and wala. you have video. switch on to have video on at all time, switch off to have it off. Thanks again for all that helped and hope this procedure helps other.. :)
