That is a new built in SAFETY feature. There currently is no bypass so you are going to have to be legal. Also when in motion some nav features are inaccessible, less of a distraction.
Check the sig.

If you are having other problems then not being able to see the video while in motion please mention them.

I think he is experiencing different problems than you are hearing.  I installed mine last night with the same symptoms.  I hooked up the parking brake cable, but it still boots up stating that the parking brake cable is not correctly installed...    I can hit OK and it goes away and everything works as it should with no limitations (until you drive), but how do you correct that error screen?

Thanks!

As a follow up, I can't play video even while parked!  It goes to a black screen immediately.  I know it's playing, as I can hear the sound, just no video.  Parking brake is on, and in the settings, the unit sees that the parking brake is on.  The vehicle isn't moving, and it says that vehicle speed is 0.  Any ideas?  THanks!
