hey guys, i got my SIR-PNR1 hooked up to my AVIC-N1 but i really dont like the display, the only thing it does is show the station in the top left corner of the screen and the source is ext-1. I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem like that. Id like the screen to display Song name, Band name, Station number and station name when its open. I emailled pioneer but they shunned me off cause the PNR1 isnt a pioneer product and wouldnt give me support for it... Anyone have any info on how i could possibly do this? I have software version 1.1 i think(i have yet to register it and get the updates so) does anyone have 1.2 that works this way? Any info here would be great

I just installed the SIR-PNR1 in my car today. Now I have the N2, but it is doing basically the same thing. It is listed as EXT1 for the source. To display the info I had to toggle thru the PGM button on the top of the flipout screen. Keep in mind you can only display either/or, not all at once. Try the PGM button and see if it works on your N1. One thing I am going to try tomorrow is putting my Sirius in front of my XM and see if it recognizes it as Sirius and not only EXT1.

12v_rep,

I'm interested in knowing if your experiment worked. Please Update.
