I've got an N1 with the dreaded fan noise. I read either on this forum or somewhere else that Pioneer was aware of this problem so I was wondering if the N2 also had this high pitched fan noise. How in the hell did they not notice this aweful noise during production?

Rockford amps from a couple years ago, specificly the bd 500 had an issue with a very high pitch whine and most of those amps had that problem. The thing is that is a huge deal for a company to complety change out a component durring production so if their prototype models didnt do it and they went into production only to find out this problem, it would cost them a ton of money to fix and unfortunatly the companies would just rather you deal with it as opposed to correct it. Gotta love big buisness

Ive sold a couple of the AVIC-N1's and havent had any problems with fan noise. Just though I would mention they arent all bad.
