Well yesterday, I got everything installed and working. Only one screw up was that I tapped into a 12v constant for power to the monitor, which was making it stay on all the time. Switched it to an ignition source and all is well.
Damn movies sound good in a car with 6 speakers. :)
Kenwood h/u with the Audiovox DVD player below it hooked up with an auxillary input adapter.

The screen......the glare makes it look like sh*t, but the picture is really great.

This was the ultimate budget install.   The monitor was $80 shipped off ebay, and the dvd player was a factory refurbished unit off ebay for $50 shipped.
