so anyways i drive a 93 nissan 240sx, i want to install my clarion vrx610 tv with my clarion pro audio head unit and run my seperate dvd so i can use the head unit/system to power the music and the tv/dvd player when im using it. I am going to run a constant 12v straight from the battery and splice both the tv/dvd into it. now my real questions are, is there anywhere easier that splicing into my steering column harness for switched 12v? and my head unit has an aux in, but how exactly will i be able to listen to the tv/dvd using my system, anything else i need to do or im missing, sorry if i sound like a noob, but this whole video thing is new to me, thanks for any help and input

Well first off there is a switched ignition wire behind the deck you can use. If you dont wanna use it then I would suggest either the column or the fuse box, your choice. As for the aux thing, all you do is run a set of audio cables from the output on the DVD player to the aux input on the deck. Then when you put a dvd in the player and switch your deck to aux, you will get your dvd sound
