I just bought a 2005 pathfinder and realized that a passenger cannot enter a destination while driving. This makes no sense to me. I also have a mdx and can do all of that. Anyone know how enable this probably by grounding some parking wire.
I would hate to rip out a brand new nav system.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, it is controlled by the braking of the system. You can fully alter navigational settings when the care is not rolling, or the brake pedal it pressed.

I doubt you could or would want to bypass this.

care, i meant car. lol. On a side note, I agree, a passenger should be allowed to do this while the car is moving, but definitely not allow the driver to do this.
