 Ok,

Currently looking around for a few mid range in dash dvd w/ lcd.   A few that I was looking at was some pioneer, clarioin, eclipse and alpine.

I tend to try and stick to some of the more "name brand".   But I was going through at some of the shops and looked at this Jensen VM9510, the screen was totaly awesome and looked amazing.   But the only thing I couldn't get over is thinking "its a jensen".  Has anyone else seen these screens and what do you think of them ?     Is there anything else I should really look for in a in-dash other then imputs outputs and watts, along with the quality of the screen ?

i have instaled a few jensen srceens and for the prize the sreen looks really good and it has 2 video inputs thats a plus. i have a pioneer avic-n1 and I think jensen has a little bit shraper image then my pioneer but thats just me

i still have not seen anyone bring there jensen back to be fix or wasnt happy with it

i think jensen is now made by audiovox so its the same srceens with jenson name on it

this is just my opinion but "get what you want"...if it is the cost that is makin u want to go the cheap route, remember..you get what you pay for..i don't know audovox or jensen's track record with indash flip out units but i'm usre it isn't as long as the top brands. it took me three months to save for my panasonic cqvd7500u and i could not have been happier. if your spending $700-$800 on something you might as well bump it up a few hundred and get a better track record. and don't be afraid of going with th refurbs either as long as they come with a warrenty you can save your self a few bucks and have the quality you want. check out ebay and do your homework..it took me about two months before i settled on a head unit..
