Take the GREEN wire from the AVIC-N1 harness ( the one that is suppose to go to the emergency hand brake ) and attach it the a clean metal part of the car. This will make the unit think that the e-brake is engaged.

Well if you can't follow simple bypass directions, or search for that matter, I feel much safer knowing that your indash dvd player will not work while driving(or parked for that matter).

Wow..I'm 100% more comfortable when I'm driving my show car, not to mention if I have friends in the car with me.

I'm even more scared that your installing a fairly complicated unit(more complex then a basic headunit) in a rather high end car...its no Dodge Neon...)Anyone want to take bets on what fried first..the unit or the car? lol In all honestly bro..best of luck. Personally if I was you I'd consider professional installation especially for this unit.
