VSS wire 2005 nissan frontier has anyone found it for navigation? The european model has nav as an option so there should be something that works?

THis has been a wire that has given alot of installer's problems because it is in some models but not in all. A good person to ask about this is Rob at Forbidden. His 12 volt member name is forbidden. THis is the information that I have on this:

LIGHT BLUE at the instrument cluster ( Pin 6 ) or at the radio harness.

I'll check your diagrams when I get a chance at work, however the 05 Frontier uses a Controller Area Network like th 04 Titan read more at this post....https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=59453&PN=1

Anyway I'll see what info I can get for you...

Thanks keep me posted, from what I have seen the C.A.N. has no way of comunicating with the AVN or any other navigation system for that matter. It seems to use a telemetry base comunication. Someone needs to make some kind of converter if that is possible.

I would really like to know what the European models of Pathfinder and Frontier use for nav.
