I just installed it into my 350z but even after hooking up my power brake line it still gives the error that it's not hooked up. I don't mind following the rules but I think it's just not compatable with my z's power brake connection.

Is there a way to simulate the power brake connection on the avic-d1? Something from radioshack hopefully. ;)

Thanks, Chaze

It says to hook it up to the positive side of the ebrake connection. And I was reading in another thread that you need to connect another wire to the brake line. major wiring for my Z and still who knows if it will work.

Foot Brake is PINK/BLUE (+) located at the brake pedal swtich

Parking brake is PURPLE (-) located at the base of the parking brake

You still won't be able to watch while driving unless you bypass the gyro system in the D1 unit. Once it detects movement on the VSS wire, this cuts out video feed to the monitor. Do a search for AVIC N2 on this forum and you can read the hundreds of posts about this from other member's
