Hi,

I am installing a aux output device to my 2005 ford freestyle. It ask me to connect a wire from it to the 12 volf power source. Which wire near the radio will do this for me?

Thanks,

Anthony

Try this:

Identify the fuse that controls ONLY the radio.  (Do this by pulling the obvious fuse and testing the radio constant AT THE RADIO) If there is NO POWER, UPGRADE THAT FUSE to support the added amps of the AUX. Try to stay @ or below 25A, if you need more AMPS, upgrade that wire leading from the FUSE PANEL to the RADIO.  The closest is often the most obvious.  Or you could do away with the cig lighter and use that...It's usualy rated @ 10-15A to start. Good luck!
